Director General Message

Message from the Director General

Research and studies are fundamental to the advancement of the defense, security, and military industries in the Kingdom. At the Prince Sultan Defense Studies and Research Center, we are committed to our vital role in achieving our nation’s ambitious goals, which seek to localize and enhance the outputs of the military industries through specialized research led by a group of highly skilled and driven Saudi professionals.

Our work at PSDSARC focuses on scientific studies and research to develop distinctive defense technologies that align with the Kingdom’s strategic directions. In full integration with defense and security sectors, we identify areas of research and development that bolster the strength of the national defense system. Investment in defense research enhances the efficiency of local military industries and increases the Kingdom’s capability to build strong, independent industries.

With the expertise and ambition of our national talents, we aspire to advance our beloved nation’s capabilities in technology localization and defense product development, aiming for a secure future. This is achieved by strengthening relationships with academic institutions, specialized research and industrial entities, conducting field experiments, and comprehensive studies to support the Kingdom’s independence and self-reliance in defense systems, under the unlimited support provided by our wise leadership — may God protect them.
